And I’m back!
It’s day 4 of the 4 day Pre-Christmas giveaway!
Now initially I was going to postpone it, on account of Darwin being almost so far north that Australia Post can’t deliver here quickly, and yet not north enough for Santa to just drop it on my door, but I changed my mind. I’d really like whoever wins this prize to get it before Christmas and just on the off chance that you are remote enough for the postman to appear grinch like as well, it’s best we get moving.
So instead of photos of the actual product, you get made up ones, and my thoughts on the awesomeness of the idea 🙂
My mum, is one of those hard to buy for people when it comes to Christmas. She has everything she needs, and because she is on her own, and doesn’t have a significant other to buy her little treats, she buys them for herself. As she should.
However it does make it tricky for the rest of us.
Being the relatively organised person that I am, I’ve had my Christmas shopping done for a few weeks now, except for Mum’s. I’ve just had no idea what to get her.
Then I heard about word art.
“Word Art Studio is the creation of architectural photographer Alexandra Eleftheriou. Inspired by the city landscape, Alexandra began to see how letters of the alphabet are re-created through the unique shapes of buildings, architectural structures and through nature. Alexandra captured the images she was seeing with her camera to create an inspiring and intriguing collection of more than 500 beautiful photographic images that artistically reflect the 26 letters of the alphabet.”
I was going to write that myself, but the website said is so much better. 🙂
Basically, you choose a word that you love, go online, type it in, and then choose what pics you want, order it, and word art sends you out a beautiful framed wall hanging, that will brighten up any wall.
Who wouldn’t like something like that?
I love the idea of these particularly as baby shower, or maybe after baby present. Would be a wonderful thing to adorn a nursery wall with.
Word Art Studio also has several products pre made that you can purchase.
I loved this smile one.
And although I have never been there, I think it would be fun to put this on my wall.
Just because. 😉
Now I won’t tell you what word I used for mum. Just on the very off chance she reads this today, and I have just blown half the surprise.
But I will tell you, that thanks to Word Art Studio, you too can adorn your wall with Darwin, or some other precious word.
Possibly this one?
One lucky Essentially Jess reader will receive a $214 Word Art Voucher, which is enough for 6 letters and a standard mat and frame, plus delivery. (Additional letters or ornate frames can be purchased for extra). Unfortunately, this offer is only valid for Aussie readers.
As I said earlier, I really want your prize to get there in time for Christmas, so this competition will close on Wednesday the 5th of December. Winner will be chosen by random.org and notified by email.
