I was having a conversation with a friend the other day, and she was surprised to learn I had had my wisdom teeth out. I don’t know why. We had discussed it so much recently, seeing as she was a dental nurse in a former life (that is before children.)
That’s when it occurred to me.
She doesn’t read my blog.
I know right?
What’s wrong with her?
I just kind of assume that anyone I know who actually wants to be involved in my life, would read my blog. Because let’s face it, there isn’t a whole lot I don’t share on here.
But then this particular person has a husband who blogs and she didn’t even know, so I guess we can forgive her.
Anyway, it got me thinking….
A little while ago I posted this pic on Facebook, and everyone loved it.
In fact everyone wanted it, including me. It would answer so many difficult questions and solve so many awkward conversations.
“Oh you didn’t know we bought a new house?”
Points to the shirt
“Oh yes, my husband left me for a topless bar maid thirty years younger than him!” (Which is obviously fictional cause Boatman is 33)
Points to the shirt
“Oh no that wasn’t you I was referring to on FaceBook.”
Doesn’t point to the shirt cause whilst you didn’t talk about them on Facebook, their actions may have been a discussion on the blog. Of course I haven’t done this. Often.
The fact of the matter is, one of those shirts would come in handy.
So I had a little look on Vista Print, and with not too much fiddling (it was really easy to do), I worked out I could make my own custom t-shirts.
I had to stop at designing two shirts, cause let’s face it, it was highly tempting to make a whole bunch and fill my wardrobe with them, but there was literally 70 pages of possible designs, and thats just for t-shirts!
There are so many different things you could make to promote your brand.
I nearly ordered these for the awesome #teamIBOT
And I can’t think of one person who wouldn’t want one of these.
Seriously, with this kind of merchandise, no one would ever have any excuse to not read my awesomeness again!
Now luckily for you lovely readers who are well aware how wonderful my blog is, you can have your own play on the Vista Print Website when you order your 250 free standard business cards, or receive 75% off the premium range which offers a broader range of design templates. If you don’t already have any, or you are running low, you need to take advantage of this offer. There is nothing quite as professional as pulling out your flash cards and handing them to someone, like blogging makes you a real professional.
I may or may not be slightly addicted to the rush. 😉
So tell me, if you could make any kind of blog merchandise, what would it be?
Do you also think I should have my own etsy store selling all my goodies?
