Another week has gone past, which means the end of the year is fast approaching. I feel like I have to suddenly start memorising ‘Twas the night before Christmas,’ and learn all of the names of Santa’s reindeers. I’ve been pondering them for days. So far I’ve got Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Rudolph and Vixen. I want to say one is Donna, and that there may be a shoe bell and blue bell in there as well?
Really I have no idea. So instead, I present to you, My Week According to Instagram: The Pre-Christmas edition.
Twas six weeks before Christmas, when all throughout lunch,
The children and I, had hot chips to munch
Miss Ava was wearing her cheekiest grin
In hopes that her mum wouldn’t notice her sins.
I went to the park and snuggled with Roxy.
With iced coffee and Sunnies, I am rather foxy.
Facebook it cracked the 500 mark,
And made me so happy I almost did spark
Then out of the blue I became rather dismal,
And took a said selfie which was rather abysmal
A hippo reminds me to cherish my brain
And that my thighs aren’t that big which would be a pain
The bright on my shirt and my laces felt cheery,
Though others described it as just plain leery.
Sleeping princesses needed be awoke,
I do hate to do it; I’m sure my heart broke
So I made my self bright on my countdown to awesome,
Yellow eye shadow makes me shine like a force(som)
I helped out the world with my Vita Britz solution,
Twas valuable knowledge that needs execution !
Mornings are easier when blessed with sweet cuddles
And a morning so cool from the rain falling in muddles*
To the car, then our house! Bridie’s grin said it all!
Dasher was here! The class pet from school!
Boxes and marbles and old yogurt boxes,
Provide so much fun for small children and foxes (one can assume)
Flab hanging over shorts is not pretty,
So a snack becomes carrot, which is rather a pity.
Ironing piled up, just waiting for sorting,
From a mother who was on the internet cavorting
Friday night makes this Jess very happy,
And yes I am dressed, and not wearing a nappy
On the other hand this girl was all nudey,
But I just showed her cuteness cause we don’t need the rudey.
At the awesomest park, children flew through the air,
With a grin, and a squeal and hardly a care
Then they all headed home, and as they drift out of sight,
One can only hope that they’ll sleep the whole night.
