Well to cap off our weekend of ‘what to do with all your phone photos,’ I have decided to save the best till last.
Anyone who as been in a relationship for any amount of time, will know that there is a healthy amount of give and take that has to occur. Compromise is quite possibly the cornerstone of marriage. Either that or love. They are both pretty important. 😉
In our home, there are certain things that I have learned to accept, despite my initial displeasure.
The most obvious of these, would be the giant boat on my front lawn. Whilst I love the boat itself, I don’t love how it kills my grass. I have a thing about grass…
Another frustration would be the stink of fishy clothes. Or a freezer so full of fish I can’t put bread in there, meaning I run out. Or fishing rods in Boatman’s car every time I drive it to work.
Are you noticing a theme here? 🙂
I do, however, tolerate these little things because at the end of the day I love Boatman and would rather have all those inconveniences with him, than none of them without him.
All together now… “awwww” 😉
Plus he puts up with my flaws (yes I do have them), so it seems only fair.
There is one thing that Boatman does not like, that I love. (And no, it’s not Grey’s Anatomy. But that too ;)).
He can not stand them.
In his world, all fridges everywhere would be free of clutter and completely white (or stainless steel) and clean.
I differ, some what, in this opinion.
In my world, there can never be too many magnets! In fact if I can see white space on my fridge it just doesn’t seem right. To me, a happy, colourful bustling fridge, is a sign of a life fully lived. And I know that sounds crazy, but it’s not. The things put on the fridge are the moments you want to cherish. The pictures that have been painted, or a photo much-loved. There may even be the occasional bill or a reminder which is less cherish-able, but still proof that life is being lived! If it’s empty, it just appears like not enough is being enjoyed.
Like maybe things are just a little less wonderful than they are.
So really, there should always be magnets!
Now we’ve already established my love for Instagram, and photos, and now magnets, the news I have for you, this fine Sunday, is that I have discovered a way to combine all my loves in one wonderful place, with one wonderful word.
