So I’ve been wanting, for a little while now, to express my appreciation for some great bloggers out there, but have been wondering what’s the best way to do this.
A lot of the thoughts have crossed my mind, but for the sake of time (I fend to ramble) I have decided to create a favourite blogger of the moment award. Or as I’m calling it, ‘Blogger of the Mo.’
The reason it is ‘of the mo’ (or moment), is because I didn’t want to be locked into having a blogger of the week, and a month is too long, and blogger of the fortnight just doesn’t have the same ring.
Plus it gave me the ability to make a cool little button (or creepy, amateur looking button rather) with a moustache. And yes, that is the blogger button underneath, in case you were wondering.
So what happens when you’re blogger of the Mo, I hear you ask. Well, you get to wear my
creepy snazzy button on your blog if you want. (I’ll email you the code. We don’t want just anyone stealing it now!) Also I will dedicate a post wholly to you, telling you how wonderful you are, and I will do it on a Tuesday, which is when I get the most blog traffic. (I do reserve the right though to change the day in case I become wildly inspired by some new brilliance that must be shared. Don’t laugh; it could happen!)
To be blogger of the Mo, all you have to do is be yourself. If I was more of a systems junkie, I would create some kind of criteria, but because I’m taken with whimsy, I’ll just choose who I jolly well like.
So, with no further ado…
(Insert drum roll noise here)
My first Blogger of the Mo, is Fiona from My Mummy Daze.
Fiona wins the award because she has been an absolute champion of late, and has been sending PR requests my way. I mentioned I would love to do some giveaways, but wasn’t sure how to start so she just jumped right in and helped me, which is very awesome of her I think.
She also runs a link up called the 52 Week Project where she takes photos of herself (I know right) which I have not joined because I am not that brave and really hate pics of myself.
Add to all that, she has great giveaways, is quite humorous, and cooks her own meals for date night, which I never do. (Date Night is takeaway night here)
All these things combined make her pretty awesome at the moment, and if you haven’t checked her out you should!
And speaking of checking out blogs, IBOT is here, so make sure you read and leave the comment love, starting here, by telling me who is your Blogger of the Mo?
My comment box is a bit emo, and sometimes seemingly goes on vacation. If you’d like to post a comment, or eavesdrop on someone else’s, click on the post title and watch it magically appear!
