When you’re a single girl, it’s important to make the right moves in order to gain the attention of an acceptable mate.
Thankfully, I haven’t had to worry about this for years, but I did get some tips from watching my rabbits this week that I thought I should pass on to any of my single friends.
Step 1. When meeting the guy of your dreams for the first time, it’s important to make a good impression. One of the easiest ways to do so, is to chase him down and try and sniff his bottom. Don’t be alarmed if this action causes him to squeeze his way out of the cage (or appropriate social event) though the smallest place possible. It just means it’s working.
Step 2. After having shown that you think he is worth chasing down, change your game and play hard to get. You could sit in a different crate, or perhaps at the other end of the cage.
It’s important however, that you don’t completely ignore him. Ocassionally share a
bowl of rabbit feed meal, or flaunt your furry tail in his face.
All men, rabbits or not, love a bit of booty flaunting.
Step 3. Create a hero scenario. Perhaps capitalize on an improperly shut hutch, and set yourself free into the vast green yonder. If perhaps, you can survive the jaws of a killer dog attack and get away, this would be even better. If the object of your affection has any kind of heroic bone in his body, he will use his Houdini skills to brave the forest and the killer dog to find you.
Step 4. Allow yourself to be caught easily by your owner helped by friends, whilst he is still enjoying the wilderness. This will of course make him feel much more important and masculine, which is extremely important.
Since you have risked your life for his display of testosterone, you might as well capitalize on it.
Step 5. Give him plenty of time to hang with his guy mates, whatever species they seem to be, so he can brag about his heroic antics. Whist he is doing so, alternate between playing the wounded victim, and the nonchalant temptress.
Step 6. If all else fails. Just try sniffing his butt again.
It’s bound to work eventually.
