I have had a fairly busy week, and there are about seventy other things I should be doing right now, but I’m just gonna take a few moments for thankfulness.
Today I’m thankful for friends. The ones who work to build a relationship, even when life is busy and hard sometimes. And also the ones who let you steal their dress up ideas for their kids book character assembly (Gemma you are a star.)
I’m thankful for the nineteen awesome people who linked up to I Blog On Tuesday this week; it’s the most we have ever had. And I promise I will read all of yours everybody! I’m getting there.
I’m thankful for Kate, who makes me think every week what I am truly thankful for.
I’m thankful for my mother in law who is teaching me how to quilt.
I’m thankful that today is the launch of our new blog Life on a Hill, which is going to be (hopefully) a great support for Christian mummies.
I’m thankful for life, and health. I dreamt the other day of a friend who died a few months ago of breast cancer, leaving behind two small children. It’s been on my heart and mind for days now, and I am so very, very thankful, that that is not a road we have had to walk. That I have seen my children grow beyond what she was able to.
I’m thankful that there is still hope even after death. I’m thankful I have faith in something so much more.
What are you thankful for today?
